SAUL PATU

Saul Patu As The STAC Camps Founder, Saul speaks around the country about lessons learned in the Vehicle of Football and also promotes the STAC Camps message worldwide. Saul realized the need for young competitors to learn how to translate and apply concepts learned in the vehicle of sports to other life vehicles through experience & observations while playing for 22 years.

Patu was a four-year letterman at the University of Oregon (1997-2000) and All- Pacific-10 Conference selection. He was a semi-finalist for National Defensive Player of the Year and winner of The Joe Shaffeld Award as the Ducks' top defensive lineman and The Will Gonyea Award for the team's most inspirational player. Patu finished his collegiate career as the All-Time Leader in Ducks history in Tackles For Loss and Second in Sacks.

Saul went on from Oregon to play professional football for 8 years; 2 years in the NFL with the New York Jets, New England Patriots & Tennessee Titans and 6 years in the AFL with the Colorado Crush and Columbus Destroyers. In 2007, Saul became the Crush's all time-leader in Sacks and Yards-Per-Carry.

Saul and his wife Alana started the STAC Camps in Denver, Colorado through their nonprofit, The Patu Foundation, to give athletes and their mentors quality speed & agility training along with synonymous leadership training for life skills. The Patu Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization focused to Empower, Aid & Educate young people.
